Everything you need – no surprises

Below is an overview of what's provided during your stay. It's not an exhaustive inventory, but it gives a helpful sense of what's already taken care of.

If you're coming to Exeter for more than just a few nights, there's no need to arrive with everything you own or head straight out to buy essentials — the basics are already in place so you can settle in comfortably from day one.

All bills included

Gas, electricity, water, high-speed WiFi and TV Licence are included for every stay. On-site self-service laundry is available if needed, with a small usage charge.

Room cleaning

For stays longer than 7 nights, rooms are cleaned weekly. If you're staying on a fixed weekly rate (8 weeks or more), cleaning is provided monthly. Room cleaning includes dusting, polishing and vacuuming. We're afraid we can't tackle washing-up or personal laundry — but cleaning supplies are always available if you'd like to freshen up your room in between visits.

Fresh sheets and towels

Fresh bed linen and towels are provided each week. This includes pillowcases, duvet cover, flat sheet, hand towel, bath towel and floor mat. If your stay includes weekly room cleaning, we'll change the bed for you at the same time. For fixed weekly rates (8+ weeks) with monthly cleaning, simply return used linen each week in exchange for fresh sets.

Thoughtful furnishings

Each room is fully furnished and thoughtfully equipped for day-to-day living. While each room is slightly different, you'll find that the essentials are already in place. Even for longer stays, there's no need to bring kitchen items, cleaning supplies or furniture. If there's something specific you'd like to check, just let us know.

Kitchen essentials

Every room includes a fridge, kettle and microwave, along with glassware and a bottle opener. Studios also feature an electric hob, pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery. The shared kitchen offers all of this and more, including a full-size oven, dining tables and a wide range of cooking equipment.

Shared spaces

All guests can enjoy the large shared kitchen and dining area on the ground floor, fully equipped with appliances and cooking equipment, including a full-size oven. On warmer days, the courtyard provides a relaxed outdoor space to sit and unwind.

Cleaning supplies

In the shared kitchen you'll find cleaning products, cloths, sponges, bin liners and a vacuum cleaner. You're welcome to use them at any time — just return them once finished.

A warm welcome

Alongside a small sweet treat, you'll find a few practical essentials to help you settle in. Contents vary slightly, but typically include a welcome guide, mini toiletries and toilet rolls — plus washing-up basics in studios. Tea and coffee are always available in the shared kitchen.

On-hand support

If anything in your room or the property isn't quite right, our team is on hand to respond promptly. Genuine emergencies are handled 24/7, and less urgent matters are usually resolved within 24 hours.

Don't just take our word for it.

Fantastic location, lovely room, comfortable bed and brilliant shower. The resident's kitchen was handy and stocked with tea, coffee, and plenty of crockery/pans etc. Living room area was nice, and had a small library of games available. Overall had a very charming feel to the place.
